Hey!

I'm Lara (she/her), and I am a creator based in lots of places. I am a Brazilian-American from Santa Barbara, CA, and currently a junior BFA Actor-Singer major at Syracuse University. As of Fall 2025, I am attending an incredible semester abroad at Shakespeare's Globe in London, and it has been the best time of my life.​

I love the outdoors, whether that means hiking, spending time with animals, or simply frolicking. I work at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum as an instructor when I am away from school, and am proudly plant-based - I do local volunteer work at Food Banks and gardens, and do my best to find ways to advocate for animal and environmental rights whenever I can.

I am passionate about just about everything, really. I like to engage in work that is challenging, abstract, and pushes boundaries, but I also just love a good piece of work. I am open to anything thrown my way, and I have a lot of experience with new works (musicals and plays), Musical Theatre, and Shakespeare. To me, the most important part of what I do is being able to collaborate with diverse artists, to be inspired by them, and to form lasting connections that only deepen the art we create.
